ABOUT THE FAMILY FIELD GUIDE

More living. Less searching.

The Family Field Guide started with a simple idea: the internet has plenty of information. What I usually want is to know what actually worked.

Here you'll find firsthand guides to family travel, home and garden, health and wellness, and everyday family life—all based on places we've actually been, things we've actually tried, and lessons we've learned along the way.

I'm a wife and mom of two who loves traveling, staying active, creating a beautiful home, and finding better ways to make the most of this season of life. Our family has traveled internationally with babies and toddlers, tackled plenty of projects at home, and learned that sometimes the best recommendations come from simply trying things yourself.

I'm not interested in pretending everything works perfectly. If something was worth the money, I'll tell you. If it wasn't, I'll tell you that too. And if I'm still figuring something out, I'll say so.

That's why most of what you'll find here is intentionally concise: the things I'd recommend, the things I'd skip, and what I'd want a friend to tell me before spending my own time or money.

Real experience. Honest recommendations. Just the useful parts.
